Palak Oats Thepla

As a Gujarati i love to eat thepla. Thepla is inherent part of Gujarati meal. We can easily take thepla with us when we go for travel. It doesn't spoil for 4-5 days. Thepla can be served with curd, mango pickle, potato sabzi. In every home they have their own recipe of thepla. Today i am going to show you one of the healthy recipe of thepla made with oats and spinach. So, lets get started....
Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 15-20 minutes
Serves : 3 Persons

Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup oats flour
1/4 cup besan
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp ginger green chilli paste
2 tbsp oil + for shallow frying
3 tbsp curd
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp cumin coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp sesame seeds
Salt as per taste

Method
1. Combine all the ingredients in deep a bowl.
2. Add water as needed and made medium soft dough.
3. Cover the dough with muslin cloth and allow it to rest for 15-20 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 12 equal portion and shape them into round balls.
5. Roll each portion using dry wheat flour into 5 inch diameter circle.
6. Heat up a tava on a medium flame place the rolled thepla on tava apply oil on both the side and cook till it turns golden brown on both side.
7. Serve hot thepla with curd, pickle or potato sabzi.
